Registration for the NIFT 2026 entrance exam closes today without a late fee penalty.
The last date to register for NIFT 2026 without a late fee is January 16, 2026.
If applicants apply later, they need to pay an additional INR 5000/- as a late fee fine. For the latest updates, candidates must visit the official NIFT website.
Candidates should carefully note the important deadlines and exam schedule to avoid missing any stage of the registration process.

Late Fee Registration Window: January 17–19, 2026 (additional late fee of INR 5,000)
Correction Window: January 20–21, 2026
Exam Date (Stage 1): February 8, 2026
For the general and reserved categories, the registration fees are as follows:
General / OBC-NCL / Gen-EWS:
Single Programme: INR 3,000
Two Programmes: INR 4,500
SC / ST / PwD:
Single Programme: INR 1,500
Two Programmes: INR 2,250

Create a login account using an Aadhaar number, a valid email ID, and a mobile number to get notifications from the officials.
Log in to complete personal and academic details, and select your preferred exam centers among the 102 cities.
Provide a scanned photograph (10KB–200KB) and signature (4KB–30KB) in JPG format.
Pay the fee online via Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI
Candidates must meet the prescribed academic and age criteria based on the programme level they are applying for.
UG Programmes (B.Des / B.F.Tech): Passed or appearing in Class 12; maximum age below 24 years as of August 1, 2026 (5-year relaxation for SC/ST/PwD).
PG Programmes (M.Des / M.F.M / M.F.Tech): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; no upper age limit.
Candidates should utilize the extended and correction windows carefully to ensure successful registration before the examination.
