Preparation Approaches

The XAT examination syllabus requires 6 to 9 months of preparation. Take a mock test first to identify and assess strengths and areas that need improvement. Daily studying should be 3-4 hours and cover all sections. To be well prepared for the XAT 2025 syllabus, solve 30-40 mock tests with IMS or Career Launcher. Prioritize the Decision Making section, which is unique to XAT; work on case-based questions. Spend 170 minutes on the first part (Verbal, Decision Making, Quant) and 10 minutes on part 2 (GK).  Pay attention to time management (113 seconds per question) and precision in answering questions to avoid penalties of -0.25 for incorrect answers, and -0.10 for counting over eight unanswered questions. For structured support, join classes with coaching centers like TIME; use CrackU or similar for self-coaching.
