Information listed on snaptest.org suggests that Symbiosis International (Deemed) University sets the syllabus for SNAP Syllabus 2025 (and SNAP Syllabus 2026), comprising  SNAP Entrance Syllabus General English, Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, along with Analytical & Logical Reasoning. The SNAP entrance test is divided into three parts, with the first being the General English portion, the second comprising Quantitative, Data Interpretation, Data Sufficiency, and lower-tier analytical reasoning, and the third consisting of higher-order Analytical & Logical Reasoning.

English General (15 Questions, 15 Marks)

English General focuses on verbal reasoning, abilities such as reading comprehension, answering and completing sentences, answering questions, and interpreting texts.

English General also focuses on verbal reasoning while the answering and completion of the given sentences requires an understanding of the language.

To prepare for English General, The Hindu is the go-to option for reading. Pair that with the suggested RC Passages from the site and you’re set. Lastly, Word Power Made Easy by Norman Lewis is a Reading supplementary textbook that greatly helps with vocabulary.

Quantitative alongside Data Sufficiency and lower-tier analytical reasoning (20 Questions, 20 Marks)

Quantitative comprises Data Sufficiency and lower-tier reasoning with topics such as Arithmetic, including but not limited to Percentages and Profit Loss, as well as time and speed, advanced topics including Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry, alongside some basic-level Probability and DI through tables, pie charts, and bar graphs.

As previously mentioned, lower-tier reasoning and Data Sufficiency will examine the candidates' analytical and numerical skills.

The suggested reading at the minute level is suggested to not only study RS Aggarwal’s Quantitative Aptitude book but also to practice Data Interpretation on the Career Launcher mocks to enhance Data Interpretation skills.

Analytical & Logical reasoning (25 Questions, 25 Marks)

Analytical, paired with Logical reasoning, includes basic level solving such as Puzzles, Coding and decoding, basic Blood relations alongside Syllogisms, interpreting and some basic critical reasoning concerning the arrangement of given Data and reading Clocks, Calendars or even lateral Graphs (line, bar, pie).

As for upper-tier skills, solving a set of question marks will divide the logical solving skills and will enhance the need to pre-evaluate basic interpretation through given lines.

The need for upper-level skills preparation comes from the book Logical Reasoning by Arun Sharma which coupled with the 20 to 30 daily puzzles, will ensure good prep.

Primary Highlights of the SNAP Syllabus 2025

The marking scheme is +1 for correct answers and -0.25 for incorrect. The syllabus for the SNAP Entrance test is similar to the CMAT MBA entrance exam, as it seeks to test the candidate’s management-relevant abilities.
