MBBS Course Syllabus 

The MBBS syllabus is divided into three parts: Pre-clinical, Para-clinical, and Clinical. Students learn basic sciences, clinical skills, and different fields of medicine. They study subjects in Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry, as well as Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, and others.

MBBS Course Eligibility Criteria 

You must complete Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in Class 12 in order to be admitted to MBBS in 2025. You will require a minimum of 50% in those subjects. However, if you're in a reserved group like SC/ST/OBC, you only need 40%. 

Applicants have to be at least 17 by the end of 2025, but there's no age limit for the entrance exam. You need to pass the NEET UG exam to be held in May 2025, to get in. 

Indian citizens, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, and people from other countries can apply, though foreign nationals may have some extra requirements. 

You can take the NEET UG as many times as you need to as long as you still meet the requirements. 

MBBS Course Fees 

MBBS fees in India change a lot based on the type of college. Government colleges keep fees low around INR 10,000 to INR 50,000 each year, so more people can afford school. 

The annual cost of attending a college like AIIMS Delhi is roughly INR 6,000, plus a little more for living expenses. The total cost stays under INR 5 lakhs for the whole program.

How to apply for the MBBS course?

You need to finish Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, and get at least 50% overall (or 40% if you’re SC/ST/OBC). You also need to be 17 by the end of 2025, but there’s no age limit after that.

You need to register for the NEET UG exam on the official NTA website. You can expect registration to usually start around February or March 2025. And fill out the form, upload the required documents, and pay the fee online.

Then register for counselling through MCC for All India Quota seats, or check your state’s website for state quota seats. And choose the colleges and courses you want based on your rank. You need to list your choices online before the deadline.

The MCC or state organizations will assign seats based on your NEET rank and the options you select. Accept the seat and pay the required fee to secure it.
